OVERVIEW:
This training course is a modularized IPC-endorsed training program that allows specialization at the application level. The construction is very similar to ACI's EMPF program and allows hands-on application of the standard for industry technology segments such as through-hole or SMT. This course can be customized to fit your company's needs. The highly detailed training program is conducted by our IPC certified trainers. WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Technical and manufacturing personnel who are responsible for the assembly and/or inspection to the requirements of IPC/EIA J-STD-001.

Course Content:
The training is divided into the following eight-hour modules:
- Module one: General requirements, materials, components, cleanliness, assembly and soldering processes.
- Module two: Wrapping, soldering, and inspection of stranded wire connections to various terminals. This module includes hands-on training.
- Module three: Installation, soldering, and inspection of components in plated-through-holes. This module includes hands-on training.
- Module four: Mounting, soldering and inspection requirements for surface mount components. This module includes hands-on training.
- Module five: Inspection criteria of the ANSI/J-STD-001 as it relates to all of the subjects.
